Apps4Gaps Professional Development Sessions – August 11 & 12

Librarians in St. Croix and St. Thomas had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the Apps4Gaps platform during the Professional Development Sessions held on August 11 and 12. These sessions focused on exploring the wide range of products available to library staff and enhancing their use to better support student learning.

The events featured insights from Warren Rylands, CEO of Lightbox, and Michelle Faber, Head of Training at Infobase, who shared practical tips and strategies to maximize the platform’s potential. In addition, three books from each island were raffled for participating librarians, adding a fun and engaging element to the sessions.

Participants left the sessions equipped with new skills, a stronger understanding of how to integrate Apps4Gaps tools into their daily work, and even a chance to enjoy new reading materials, making learning experiences even more engaging for students.
