Supporting Independent Reading with Alexandria

Alexandria can be used as a starting point for students to independently locate reading materials that match their interests or assignments. Its search and filtering tools allow for quick access to relevant resources across your library collection.

Students can search by keyword, topic, or author, and review available options before selecting a title. This can be incorporated into class time by asking students to identify one resource connected to a current topic or personal interest, helping build both research awareness and reading autonomy.
